Good news! By choosing to replace your windows and doors with Energy Star efficient products you will receive a government rebate up to $2,000 plus $8,000 on other Eco-Energy upgrades. You can still avoid a harmonization tax which will be implemented by the Government of Ontario in July 2010 which means you will be paying 8% more on any real estate related services in Ontario (you are currently paying only GST).
